First pass: establish the story
Watch at normal speed without stopping at every touch. Note score changes, breaks and any missing footage. Choose a narrow question such as “What happened when I approached the back line?” This keeps the review manageable.
Second pass: collect moments
For each relevant phrase, save the timestamp, score context, visible action and recorded outcome. Include a successful example as well as difficult moments. Describe what can be seen before proposing an explanation. Mark unclear footage explicitly.
Third pass: agree one experiment
Bring two or three clips to your coach. Ask which explanation is plausible and what single change to explore at practice. Write down how you will recognise the change next time. The goal is a testable next step, not a list of every mistake.
