Keep six numbers
M is completed bouts and V is victories. V/M is the victory ratio. TS means touches scored, TR means touches received, and the indicator is TS minus TR. These describe a set of results; they do not explain why a fencer won or lost.
A five-bout example
For 5–2 W, 3–5 L, 5–1 W, 5–4 W and 3–5 L: M = 5, V = 3, V/M = 0.60, TS = 21, TR = 17 and indicator = +4. Enter the recorded win or loss separately from the score, including a bout decided under the applicable tie procedure.
Use numbers to choose a review
Pick one close loss and one win with a similar score situation. Compare what changed before the final touches. The calculator on this site totals your entries; it does not issue seeding, qualification or an official ranking. With no completed bouts, victory ratio is undefined.
